Final countdown for the reporting of your 2017 FATCA and CRS reportable accounts

For both 2017 FATCA and CRS reports, the reporting deadline set by the Administration des Contributions Directes (the « ACD ») is 30 June 2018

04/05/2018

For both 2017 FATCA and CRS reports, the reporting deadline set by the Administration des Contributions Directes (the « ACD ») is 30 June 2018.

As last year, the ACD is expecting a NIL FATCA report from each Foreign Financial Institution registered with the IRS. In contrast, only the non-NIL CRS reports are expected from the Luxembourg Financial Institutions.

Compared to last year, the reporting scope for CRS includes all types of accounts. In addition, the ACD enhanced the requirements related to the Tax Identification Number(s) of reportable accounts. Other reporting details are kept unchanged.
