Luxembourg, 4 May 2018 – Arendt Regulatory & Consulting is proud to announce the appointment of a new senior manager: François Jacquemet, and a new manager: Anastasia Marie-Hontaas.

François Jacquemet

François has started his career in 2006 within the fund distribution sector, working in management companies and a law firm.
François worked as a legal advisor specialised in investment fund’s distribution agreements for two years, before extending its role for three years as company legal team leader, where he developed a strong contract database, managed the cross-border registration services, coordinated board meetings for numerous companies and was in charge of the review of AIF and UCITS related agreements. He handles a series of large clients with worldwide distribution of multiple investment funds/classes and specialises in cross-border registration of UCITS and AIFs around the world as well as distribution matters in general.

Anastasia Marie-Hontaas

Anastasia supports clients in setting up or reorganising their business in Luxembourg in the asset management industry. She gives advice in the field of company governance improvement and has in-depth knowledge in the areas of regulatory compliance, especially working for clients managing UCITS and AIFs. She supports Compliance officers in the delivery of their compliance program.
Before joining Arendt Regulatory & Consulting in 2012, she started her Luxembourg career working in the Compliance Department of RBC Investor & Treasury Services, assisting the Compliance Officer on AML/KYC related issues. She previously acquired expertise as an intern in the Compliance and Risk departments of several French banks.
