The new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will be directly applicable starting on May 25, 2018. It is the biggest change to data protection regulations in the last years and becoming GDPR compliant is a major challenge for many businesses.
The objectives of this training session are to:
- explain the fundamental principles of data protection,
- identify the main operational impacts for the person in charge of the treatment and processing and for the data protection officer (DPO),
- provide participants with the first steps and main broad principles for becoming compliant with GDPR
