The CSSF’s data collection exercise due for submission on 2 March 2023

The CSSF has launched a new SFDR data collection exercise for investment fund managers. The deadline for submission is 2 March 2023. Get Ready.

In the most recent communiqué_, “SFDR data collection exercise for investment fund managers (IFMs) on regulatory requirements in relation to Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 on sustainability-related disclosures in the financial services sector (SFDR)”, the CSSF launched the data collection exercise which was announced back in July 2022.

The questionnaire must be completed by:

  • UCITS management companies;

  • investment companies which have not designated a management company within the meaning of Article 27 of the Law of 17 December 2010 relating to undertakings for collective investment (i.e. “SIAGs”);

  • authorised AIFMs, including internally managed alternative investment funds within the meaning of point (b) of Article 4(1) of the Law of 12 July 2013 on alternative investment fund managers (i.e. “FIAAGs”);

  • managers of a qualifying venture capital fund registered in accordance with Article 14 of Regulation (EU) No 345/2013 and managers of a qualifying social entrepreneurship fund registered in accordance with Article 15 of Regulation (EU) No 346/2013.

The deadline for submission of the questionnaire is 2 March 2023.
