The mark-up reflects the text of the provisional agreement reached among the EU co-legislators on 7 December 2022 and approved by the EU Parliament’s ECON committee on 12 January 2023. The text of the provisional agreement remains subject to formal approval by the EU co-legislators.

The expression “consolidated version as of 20 March 2023” includes amendments introduced by Regulation (EU) 2023/606 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 March 2023 amending Regulation (EU) 2015/750 as regards the requirements pertaining to the investment policies and operating conditions of European long-term investment funds and the scope of eligible investment assets, the portfolio composition and diversification requirements and the borrowing of cash and other fund rules, published in the Official Journal of the EU (OJ L 80, 20.3.2023, p. 1).

Regulation (EU) 2015/760 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2015 on European long-term investment funds (the ‘ELTIF Regulation’) was amended by Regulation (EU) 2023/606 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 March 2023 as regards the requirements pertaining to the investment policies and operating conditions of European long-term investment funds and the scope of eligible investment assets, the portfolio composition and diversification requirements and the borrowing of cash and other fund rules.

This consolidated version as of 20 March 2023 shows the modifications introduced by the Amending Regulation in mark-up and includes the Recitals of the Amending Regulation.
