For Arendt & Medernach, contemporary art is, above all, a passion.

For a number of years, the firm has shown its commitment to the art of photography by exhibiting artists from all over the world at its premises situated in Kirchberg.

We have displayed works from well known artists such as David LaChapelle, Marie-Jo Lafontaine, Candida Höfer and Günther Förg, and also given young talents the opportunity to exhibit in our office spaces.

We have progressively built up our own art collection, representative of the main currents in contemporary photography. With time, art has become a veritable communication project, directed at the inside as well as the outside of the firm.

By creating an evolving work environment, Arendt & Medernach has the ambition to show that law, like art, is a discipline that has to be questioned regularly and that everything you take for granted can change, evolve, and undergo, modification.

We support the Edward Steichen Award, a biennial incentive, which helps to reveal emerging European talents in the field of contemporary art. 

As a logical extension of our approach, we also collaborate with Mudam, a museum dedicated to contemporary art in Luxembourg. This engagement reinforces one of the values of our policy towards art: the sharing of richness and emotions.

This award will be granted every second year to a visual artist who is part of the common exhibitions curated by the network throughout Europe.
