Senior Associate

Virginie Roger-Schroeder is a Senior Associate in the Employment Law, Pensions & Benefits practice of Arendt & Medernach.

She specialises in employment, immigration and social security matters, especially in the financial and industrial sectors.

Virginie advises employers on all aspects of the employment relationship (including its termination). Her areas of expertise also include all matters related to workplace privacy, the monitoring of employees and working time.

Prior to joining Arendt in 2016, she worked in the tax department of a leading law firm in Luxembourg and in an independent Luxembourgish boutique law firm focusing on litigation matters where she was mainly in charge of dispute resolution and employment law cases.

Having studied law in France, she graduated from Panthéon Assas (Paris 2) University and from the Law faculty of the University of Orléans, specialising in tax and business law.

She was member of the Paris Bar from 2014 to 2017 and has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2014.

She is a member of several associations notably focusing on employment law, including the international association of young lawyers (AIJA), Lex Mundi and Ladies In Law Luxembourg Association (LILLA).
