Counsel

Daniel is a Counsel in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach.

He is advising national and international clients on all aspects of investment fund law, in particular on the structuring and creation of investment funds and on legal and regulatory topics of relevance for investment managers. He advises clients on a wide range of alternative (AIF) as well as traditional investment funds (UCITS).

Daniel also focuses on the legal and aspects of financial derivatives trading as well as on regulatory investigations on investment fund managers.

He is licensed as an attorney with the Munich Bar (Germany).

Daniel is an active member of both the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) and the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA).

Before joining Arendt & Medernach, Daniel worked as a commercial lawyer at a German law firm in Munich.

Daniel holds the German first and second state exam in law as well as a US master of laws (LL.M. / San Francisco).
