Senior Associate

​Zuzanna Karas is a Senior Associate in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach where she specialises in collective asset management with a focus on UCITS and alternative investment funds structures. She advises clients on the legal, regulatory and corporate aspects of the formation, development and restructuring of regulated investment funds and management entities.

Zuzanna was seconded for 9 months to a legal department of the European Investment Fund (Luxembourg) between 2014 and 2015.

Prior to joining Arendt & Medernach, she was a law clerk in the banking department at an international law firm in their Warsaw and Frankfurt offices and did an internship at both the European Central Bank (Frankfurt) and European Investment Bank (Luxembourg).

She has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2014.

Zuzanna holds a Master’s degree in law from the University of Wroclaw (Poland), an LL.M. Finance from the Institute for Law and Finance (Frankfurt), as well as a diploma in English and EU Law from the University of Cambridge.

Languages: English, French, Polish, reading knowledge of German.
