Claudia Hoffmann is a Counsel in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach. She represents international sponsors and investors in dealing with the regulatory, corporate and organisational aspects of structuring and creating regulated and unregulated alternative investment funds (AIFs). She has a broad range of experience across asset classes advising on open-ended and closed-ended funds, the structure of carried interest vehicles, employee vehicles, fund-of-funds and parallel funds, as well as liquidity mechanisms and other regulatory matters in connection with managing, advising and marketing private funds. 

Claudia is a member of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) and participates in the working groups on debt funds and on best practices in real estate investment fund operations.

She has been a member of the Koblenz Bar (Germany) since 2012 and has been admitted by the Luxembourg Bar to practice in Luxembourg under her German professional title.

Prior to joining Arendt & Medernach in February 2012, she worked for a German law firm and held internships at renowned law firms in Paris and Brussels.

Claudia is a German-qualified lawyer and studied law in Trier (Germany) and Bordeaux (France). She is licensed by the the German first (2008) and second (2011) state examinations in law and holds a Master’s degree in International Law from the Université Montesquieu (Bordeaux, France).
