Charles
Heisbourg

Senior Associate

Charles Heisbourg is a Senior Associate in both the Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets practices of Arendt & Medernach where he specialises in corporate law, capital markets law and general commercial law. He advises local entrepreneurs, family businesses, major commercial companies, financial institutions and private equity houses on legal strategy, mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, buy-outs, complex reorganisations and governance matters.

Charles sees law as a means and not an end in itself. He engages substantial efforts to deliver real world and tangible solutions, thereby trying to bridge legal requirements with strategy and the broader commercial picture of entrepreneurial ventures.

He has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2012 and joined Arendt & Medernach in the same year.

Charles has been a lecturer in general company law at the Law Faculty of the University of Luxembourg since 2013.

He holds a Master's degree in law (Licence en droit) from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium), as well as a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (U.K.).
