Shekhar
Guin
Counsel
Shekhar Guin is a Counsel in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach. He specialises in the structuring, setting up and organisation of regulated and non-regulated alternative investment funds (AIFs) and their managers (AIFMs).
He also advises domestic and foreign asset managers on private equity and real estate acquisitions, restructuring and financing activities as well as on the structuring of European long-term investment funds (ELTIFs).
From April 2018 to October 2019, Shekhar was seconded to Arendt & Medernach’s Hong Kong office, where he advised clients based in the Asia Pacific region on Luxembourg legal and regulatory matters.
Shekhar joined Arendt & Medernach in 2013. He holds a Master's degree in Banking and Financial Law from the University of Toulouse I Capitole (France) and a Specialised Master in International Business Law and Management from ESCP.
