Iyad
El Hachem
Senior Associate
Iyad El Hachem is a Senior Associate in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach. He advises fund sponsors on the structuring and operation of regulated and unregulated alternative investment funds that pursue a range of investment strategies, including private equity, private credit and real estate. He also advises on the structuring of funds-of-funds, funds-of-one and parallel funds, including financing transactions in the private fund space. Further fields of expertise include structuring and negotiation of fund restructurings, carried interest, and other internal economic arrangements.
Iyad joined Arendt & Medernach in 2018. Prior to this, he worked as an in-house counsel for a multinational insurance company.
Iyad graduated from Université Saint Joseph in 2012 and was awarded an LL.M. from Georgetown University in 2017. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and of the Beirut Bar Association.
Languages: English, French, Lebanese, Modern standard Arabic.
