Senior Associate

Sabrina El Abbadi is a Senior Associate in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach.

She specialises in regulated investment funds with a focus on Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS) and alternative investment funds.

Sabrina advises domestic and international clients on the regulatory, corporate and organisational aspects of the formation, development and restructuring of investment funds, investment companies and management companies.

She also advises in private equity investment schemes, advising clients on the structuring, setting-up and organisation of investment companies in risk capital (SICAR), specialised investment funds (SIF) and other types of UCIs and non-regulated entities as well as their contractual arrangements.

Sabrina was seconded for 5 months to the legal department of Pimco Investment Management in London and gained experience in structuring, documenting, drafting and advising on fund transactions.

Sabrina has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2013 and of the Luxembourg Bar since 2018.

Prior to joining Arendt & Medernach, Sabrina worked in the investment management departments of several international law firms and management companies in Paris.

She holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Bourgogne (Dijon, France) and a Master’s degree in Corporate and Tax law from the University Paul Cézanne (Aix-Marseille, France).
