Senior Associate

Marc Berna is a Senior Associate in the Private Wealth practice of Arendt & Medernach.

He specialises in tax, corporate, real estate and civil law matters.

He advises on all aspects of tax law, corporate law, real estate law and civil law for the benefit of private clients and privately held businesses. He focuses more specifically on private clients, family offices and entrepreneurs, either national or international, in the global structuration of their wealth.

Marc has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2014. He is in addition registered as a Luxembourg candidat-notaire.

Marc holds a Master's degree in private law from Université libre de Bruxelles (Belgium), a Certificate in European private law from Universität Salzburg (Austria) as well as a degree in German tax and European corporate law from Freie Universität Berlin (Germany).

Marc is a member of the real estate committee of the AMCHAM in Luxembourg, the UIA, the IFA and the AIJA.

He recently notably published an article on the potential impacts of the EU succession regulation with regard to inheritance taxes.
