Ben Messaoud


Chirazad Ben Messaoud is a Counsel in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach.

She specialises in regulated investment funds, advising clients on the regulatory, corporate and organisational aspects of the structuring and creation of investment funds, investment companies and management companies. She focuses on undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS) and alternative investment funds and their managers under the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD). Chirazad is also involved in ETFs and Islamic finance structures.

In 2018, Chirazad was seconded to the Luxembourg Management Company of a large UK based asset manager where she successfully advised and assisted in its Pan European restructuring.

She has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2009.

Chirazad Ben Messaoud holds a Master’s degree (Magistère) in European business law from the Université Nancy II (France).
