Senior Associate

David Alexandre is a Senior Associate in the IP, Communication & Technology practice of Arendt & Medernach where he specialises in the following areas of the law: intellectual property (IP), e-commerce, technology, media and telecommunications (TMT), advertising, consumer protection, product regulation and data protection and privacy.

Prior to joining Arendt & Medernach in 2016, he started his career in 2009 working as a lawyer for a French trademark attorney firm. He then joined a French boutique law firm, advising high profile clients both from an advisory and litigation perspective.

David Alexandre is a lecturer at Agroparistech and Neoma Business School (France). He is also a member of the Association des Praticiens du droit des Marques et des Modèles (APRAM), and a board member of the Hate Prevention Initiative, a French NGO working against the online dissemination of hate speech.

David is admitted to practice at the Paris Bar, and has been admitted by the Luxembourg Bar to practice in Luxembourg under his French professional title. He studied law in Strasbourg, Paris and London, and holds law degrees from reputable universities, including a degree in Business Law as well as a Master’s degree in industrial and intellectual property from the Université Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne, and a Diploma in Legal Studies from King’s College London.

In 2015, he was awarded the Prix Simone Goldschmidt – Fondation de France by the Paris Bar, an annual distinction recognising the merits of a young lawyer.
