Laurent
Gueneau

Born in the French Bourgogne in 1964,  Laurent Gueneau firstly works as an assistant, familiarising himself to the studio techniques and light. Quickly attracted by the outside he works on a documentary on the last barrier keepers, published in Photomagazine. His multiple visits to Vietnam in 1994 lead him to strive for larger formats and colour.

Blurring the lines between artistic and documentary photography, he analyses the relation between forms, colours and materials, always privileging the subtlety of colour and the imbalance of equilibriums.
