Originally from Belgium, David Laurent does not seem to dwell much on romantic illusions in his role as a photographer. Reluctant to call himself an ‘artist’, he prefers the term ‘creative’.
Intuitive and attracted by natural light, he nonetheless strives for spontaneity both in his style and images; quickly, he puts them into movement, capturing that one bit of life, or just a glance, that came to impose itself to him.
