On 11 March 2015, the EU Parliament published a document containing the provisional version of the Regulation on European Long-Term Investment Funds (ELTIFs Regulation) which it adopted at its plenary session on 10 March 2015. The ELTIFs Regulation must now be officially endorsed by the Council of the EU. The Regulation will enter into force 20 days after its publication in the Official Journal of the EU and should become applicable six months after its entry into force.
