Where ?

We are hosting today a new kind of conference in the Arendt House Auditorium: a "Survival Kit Seminar" focusing on the legal and regulatory tsunami the financial industry was faced with in December 2015.

Everything seems to be happening at the same time. At the EU level, this is the result of the European financial legislation following the 2008 crisis. At Luxembourg level, it is related to the translation of these directives into domestic law.

Immediate action required

Absorbing all this information is very difficult, and yet this requires immediate action. We decided to make your life simpler by giving you the basic information you need to apply and to transmit to your teams to enable them to act quickly (operations reporting, renegotiation of contracts, etc.).

Our team members will clarify these recent changes one by one and address their immediate impact for you and your business. In particular, we will address the following:

- Bank Recovery and Resolution Law

- Deposit Guarantee Scheme and the Resolution Fund Law

- Solvency II

- Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD)

- Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR)

Providing a client’s ‘digest’

In just 2 hours, each speaker will give you an overview of the major changes affecting each area, and will focus on the practical information needed. This will ensure that you do not forget anything important.

6 partners and their teams will be on stage and will answer your questions at the end of the conference. You will receive the presentation slides after the event.
