Arendt Seminar
To
Early November 2014, the European Central Bank (ECB) officially took over supervisory responsibility for banks in the euro area under the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) rules.
Although only significant banks will from now on be directly supervised by the ECB, less significant banks are, contrary to certain opinions, also subject to certain direct powers of the ECB.
To guide you through the SSM, the partners of Arendt & Medernach are pleased to invite you to a conference focusing on the following topics:
- The relationship between the ECB and national regulators
- The rights of the ECB vis-à-vis less significant banks
- Enquiries, investigations and on-site inspections by the ECB: are you prepared?
- First experiences of lawyers with the ECB
The conference will take place on Tuesday 20 January at the Chambre de Commerce in Luxembourg.
