Stephane Karolczuk participated as speaker to the ALFI Breakfast Seminar held in Hong Kong on October 8, 2015 and entitled "Luxembourg Investment Funds - Roadmap for Asian Managers targeting European Investors".
Stephane and Jeremy Lam of Deacons gave the audience a legal update on UCITS and AIFMD. They emphasis on questions relevant to Asian asset managers, as well as recent developments in Hong Kong which are relevant to UCITS managers, such as the new streamlined approval process for funds and the mutual fund recognition. Other speakers were present at this Breakfast Seminar, included Christina Choi from the SFC, Sharon Yang from GF International Asset Management, Karine Hirn from East Capital, Jill Griffin from Standard Chartered Luxembourg, among others.
