Given the ongoing development of AIS, we are currently recruiting:
Intern – Junior Depositary Officer
As an intern in the Depositary department, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of alternative investment funds (“AIFs” or “funds”). You will be exposed to different asset strategies, from Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure to Venture Capital and Debt. You will share the team’s main mission: to safeguard the interests of funds’ investors.
Your role:
- Support the team in their daily tasks;
- Collect and save supporting documents, relating inter alia to due diligence on third parties, assets and investors;
- Carry out the AIFs’ daily cash flow monitoring and report any exception as per internal procedures;
- Complete the investors’ registers and files. Keep them up to date with any transaction (subscriptions, capital calls, distributions, repayments) and any data change;
- Complete and update assets records based on documents collected;
- Daily check the common Depositary mailbox to ensure timely process of requests;
- Other administrative tasks.
Your profile:
- You are studying a Bachelor or Master’s degree in accounting, finance or business;
- Ideally, you have a first experience related to alternative investment funds in Luxembourg (preferably with a depositary, an audit firm or a bank);
- You have a basic knowledge of/show genuine interest in the AIFM regulations;
- You are fluent in English; any additional language is considered an asset;
- You are well organized and rigorous;
- You are able to prioritize workload and manage several tasks;
- You display a positive and enthusiastic attitude;
- You have a good command of Microsoft excel and word.
