General Accountant
Based in Hamm (Luxembourg)
Your role:
Under the guidance of our Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the accounting for several Arendt & Medernach entities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing and monitoring fixed assets.
- Defining and recording monthly closing entries, such as invoices not yet received, prepaid expenses, etc.…
- Monitoring and reconciling balance sheet accounts to ensure the reliability of accounting information, including reconciliations of intra-group positions.
- Drawing up monthly summary statements (balance sheet, income statement, account details).
- Drawing up monthly and annual VAT returns.
- Ensuring data transmission and coordination with the fiduciary responsible for preparing tax returns and FAIA reporting
- Actively participating in the preparation of audit files.
Your profile:
- You hold a university degree (minimum of 3 years)higher education in Finance/Accounting).
- You have at least 5 years of work experience in accounting, in a Fiduciary or in an Accounting Department of a Commercial company.
- You are fluent in French and English.
- You have a good knowledge of taxation.
- You are versatile and well-organised.
- You are recognised for your discretion and your integrity.
- You are able to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
