Jean-Nicolas Fassin is a senior associate in the Regulated Investment Funds Practice where he advises clients on litigation and regulatory matters in the investment fund industry. Jean-Nicolas has been actively involved in assisting clients on custody and transfer agent-related issues, private equity fund formation and investment fund restructuring. His practice also includes general corporate and accounting law advice.
He has been a member of the Brussels Bar (Belgium) since 2004 and has been admitted by the Luxembourg Bar to practise in Luxembourg under his Belgian professional title.
Prior to joining Arendt & Medernach in 2007, Jean-Nicolas worked in the corporate departments of two other major law firms in Brussels and Luxembourg.
Jean-Nicolas holds a Master’s degree in law from the Université de Liège (Belgium), a diploma (CIEP) from Sciences Po (France), and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Columbia Law School (U.S.A.).
