opportunity to share their knowledge and practical know-how.
Our firm
publishes a quarterly legal update which is distributed to both clients and
staff members. The legal update contains articles concerning the most recent
developments in different areas of law. The preparatory research and drafting of
the articles is an informative and useful exercise in which all our members are
given the opportunity to participate.
In order to develop and consolidate client relationships, all new members of the
firm are offered the opportunity to participate in client meetings and to
otherwise liaise with clients soon after joining the firm.
Although new
members of the firm are involved in client files from the beginning, the files
are always managed by a senior associate or a partner who will provide guidance
and supervision.
Our firm offers competitive remuneration which ranks amongst the highest in the
legal market.
The level of remuneration earned by each lawyer depends on
the lawyer’s education and previous professional experience.
Depending
on the firm’s performance and their seniority within the firm, those lawyers in
the firm who demonstrate a high level of proficiency and motivation towards
their work may expect a year end bonus.
As a result of the firm’s international dimension, young lawyers are offered the
opportunity to widen their legal expertise by taking part in a secondment
program which our firm regularly arranges with our office in Brussels.
Due to our well-established
network of Luxembourg-based clients, our firm is frequently presented with the
opportunity to provide such clients with secondees.
Such secondments
present the secondee with an invaluable experience and understanding of diverse
working environments and also contribute to the strengthening of relationships
between Arendt & Medernach and such entities.
